Miss you all!

I Miss YouHey there!

I want to let all of you awesome readers and followers of Clever Marketer know how much I’m missing you!

I’ve been sick for over a week and a half and in bed most of this past week with a sinus infection and chest cold.Ā  The good news is that even though I’ve been down for the count this may be the reason for the migraine headaches I’ve had for a while, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll be back in swing next week! šŸ™‚

After spending the week laying low:

  • The laundry is crazy out of control and the house is a mess
  • My toenails are polished and my face has been “facial-ed”
  • I’ve filled a notebook of ideas of things I want to do this summer (both for fun and for my business)
  • I’ve redecorated my house (in my head) about 20 different ways
  • I’ve re-watched some of my favorite movies like You’ve Got Mail, Peaceful Warrior, and The Ultimate Gift
  • I’ve planned a couple of vacations for summer
  • And I’ve sketched out notes on 2 big projects I plan to launch for Clever Marketer in the next month or so!

I’m waiting until my voice comes back so I can record the winners from the drawing of people who completed the “Prove It!” Challenge and I hope to post it with a big mash-up post next week.Ā  I’ve gone past the sexy deeper morning voice to the nasal sounding kermit-the-frog voice that cracks and squeaks when I try to speak up!Ā  (My kids are in heaven, since I can’t yell, and my 3 year old thinks whispering is the “cool” new way to talk and he’s whispering to people everywhere. LOL)

So I miss you and wanted to wish you a happy weekend.Ā  For those of you in the United States, have a fun Memorial Day.Ā  I send my sincere gratitude to everyone in the services who have sacrificed to keep us safe.

Have a great weekend and happy blogging,

  3. Hey Heather,

We miss you too! I’m so sorry you’ve been sick. I thought something was up when I didn’t see any updates to your blog.

I’ve had that sinus infection and chest cold combo, it’s tough. Mine usually works itself into bronchitis. I’ve been lucky this year and managed to avoid getting sick.

Use this weekend to get well. Despite being sick I hope it’s a good one for you and your family šŸ™‚

    Take care, Liz

    • Hi Liz,

Thanks. Yes I have rested up this past weekend and week and although I’m not 100%, I do feel better. Thanks so much for your comment and wish for a great weekend. I hope yours was great too!

      Happy Memorial Day!

  6. It is good news that you are back. Whenever I fell on bed,I learn a lot by doing only brain storming.

    • Nawaz,

Sometimes it takes getting sick to slow me down enought to rest, and then, I agree that I end up doing a lot of thinking, brainstorming, and dreaming! šŸ™‚

      Thanks for the comment,

  7. Hi Heather!

I hope you’re feeling better now! For someone who was sick, you’ve had quite a productive respite.

Sometimes, our body needs that much-needed break so we could just slow down a bit in preparation for a crazy week ahead of us. šŸ™‚

Whatever keeps you busy, I bet you are much energized now and rarin’ to go!

A great week ahead of you, Heather!

    • Hi Elmar,

Yes my time loafing on the sofa wasn’t totally wasted…I got lots of dreaming and planning work done. šŸ™‚

I think you’re right that sometimes our bodies call it quits on us so that we’ll slow down and regroup.

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate you!

  8. How lovely to hear that you’re on the mend, my dear friend, Heather! šŸ™‚

I’m looking forward to seeing you in action and working with you again.

It’s amazing how you got so much done while lying in bed. So funny that Nick is now whispering to everyone šŸ˜€

    Talk you soon sweetie!

    To Good Health!

    • Thanks Mavis,

I still have a cough and my voice isn’t completely back but the fever and headaches are completely gone! šŸ™‚ Yes…I’m doing a happy dance!

Good luck this weekend at your traffic seminar! I so wish I could be there to learn from you.

      (((Hugs back)))

  9. Hey Heather, Get well soon.

Awww! I had the same cold about 3 weeks ago. I know how you feel, at least your little one’s are giving you a good laugh. They are too cute at that age, my son was about to call 911 because I so bad off.

Thank God for Brian coming to save the day, he brought me night and day Sinus Relief Liquid Caps. Because my cold did not turn into a sinus infection that medicine worked in a few days.

    I’m sending you big hugs,

    • Hi Tisha,

I think a lot of people have this, at least around here. I’m still fighting the cough and my voice has not completely returned, but I’m on my way back to normal and finally feeling better.

Now for the ‘getting caught up’ part of being sick. šŸ™‚

Glad to hear you’re feeling well again!
