Welcome everyone to the first blog commenting campaign!

Here are the RULES:

Rule #1 - You must be an online marketer offering QUALITY content. By QUALITY content I mean VALUE. No advertisement, no selling, NO FLUFF.

Rule #2 - All content will be reviewed for quality. Content may be rejected or revisions may be required.

Rule #3 - Follow the rules for each campaign. A campaign will last 2 days.

Rule #4 - If you choose to post a feedback request for a campaign, you must comment on all posts and articles during that campaign. We require that you participate in at least 2 of the 3 campaigns each week.

Rule #5 - Retweets and FB shares are not required, but greatly appreciated if you deem the content to be deserving.

Rule #6 - Please don't request feedback on company-related posts. Affiliate product reviews are OK, but commenting on those is optional due to possible conflict of interest, so you might not get as many comments.

*** If you are not an active rater and commenter, you will be asked to leave the group.

HI Dani,

Welcome! You will need to comment on all the links that are placed in this thread between now and Sunday. You can subscribe to the RSS of the topic if you'd like to be notified when other links are placed here, or you can check back when you've got time to catch up on commenting.

We'll see how it goes this round with one commenting campaign going, but as more members join we'll open up more threads, so we do not overwhelm everyone with commenting.

Everyone should comment on the links left by everyone else. If you notice a member not commenting on your post, please let them know first and if they don't comment, then please bring it to my attention.

A new campaign will open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. You will need to finish up commenting on any posts in the last thread you participated in, before you are allowed to post your link in a new campaign.

Let me know if there are any other questions...

@Tim Glad you're here. The most easy way to tell if everyone has commented is to count the links in the thread and the number of comments on the link you shared. They should match, otherwise you can start digging in to see who didn't comment. You haven't shared a link yet...

@Janet, thanks for the friend request and the follow. I'll be getting caught up on those asap. I fixed Devesh's link for everyone. Thanks for reposting it.

I'm creating a thread to explain blokube since I'm sure new members as they join will have the same question. :)

@ALL- Simply reading and commenting on a post for the sake of commenting will not cut it. It'll be mechanical which is something that'll not be productive.

Let try to comment sincerely and sometimes oppose sincerely if need be.

Heather- I sense that this forum feed is not working fine at least on my opera mini...when new comment has been posted, I don't readily see it. It doesn't happen like that with other blogs I'm subscribed to. Please check it.

Morning All...I'm new to this concept and process, so please forgive me if I muddle along for a few days. I have seen that there are blogposts coming up on the FB page, too...and I'm not sure if I'm also required to comment on those, or not? Or, for purposes of this group is my "responsibility" just commenting on the posts on this forum?

My blog is not yet enabled for dofollow (that should be happening tomorrow) and a few other changes are underway thanks to Heather's value packed post over at Traffic Generation. That's how I found my way here.

So, I'm off to post some comments and for today, I'll simply invite you to visit my site at http://wisewellwomen.com and pick any post to comment on. Part of the reason I'm engaging here is to help keep my blogging discipline intact, which has not been the best of late :-)

Hi Nanette! Your responsibility is only for comments on the actual blog posts that are linked here, although shares, tweets, and comments on facebook are always appreciated if you feel the content is worthy.

I also suggest that in the future you pick an actual post you want to receive comments on to simplify any confusion. It's easier for you to keep track to make sure you're getting your comments and it's easier for us to go back and check to make sure we've commented on everyone in the previous campaign before we share a link in the new campaign. (Does that make sense?)

@Everyone...I'm heading to canoe-a-copia with the kids today, so have fun! I'll check back tomorrow to see how everyone's doing. :) If there are a lot more links shared this weekend, I think on Monday I'll break us into a couple of groups so we're not overwhelmed trying to get around and leave comments.

Thanks Heather, I think a couple of test runs will enable us to get into the format of this forum and get a routine established.

@Tim, yes it definitely takes effort to read the posts of others and 'can' or 'could' become mechanical if we didn't take the time to read.

the benefits are that so much of the time we actually 'learn' something from our peers, so taking that extra 4-6 minutes is well worth the effort.

It does turn out to be a win-win but again it does take time!

I found all the Rules really clear except for this bit: 'Rule #4 - If you choose to post a feedback request for a campaign...'

Just to clarify, does this mean 'if we choose to link to one of our own posts in a current campaign'?

I'm going to continue to participate in the Prove It blogging challenge and once that is ended, I'll hot foot it over here and start participating. I'm assuming that we cannot post the same blog post here as we post in the challenge - right?

I have one recommendation for the forum. Make the links open in a new window instead of the same one. This way I don't have to keep hitting the back button on my browser in order to read another post. Thanks

Kisane, yes you are correct about rule #4. I will fix the rule to clarify tomorrow. You may absolutely use the same posts from the challenge here. That was a big part of why I did this, because I didn't feel like everyone was getting the comments I had hoped they would because the challenge turned out to be a bigger attraction than I thought it would.

Heather, I am actually very appreciative of this forum and that you concur that it can be used in conjunction with the Prove It Challenge and that in actuality it seems to me that it will in essence become a continuation of our 'posse'. It will be much easier I think in the future and will help us keep better track. Its a bit of a 'challenge' sometimes not to accidentally overlook some of the great posts from our team members.

Thanks for letting me know about the share buttons. Nobody has mentioned this before but I have the same problems reading many other blogs. I think it might be because I mostly use a laptop. Do you? Not quite sure what to do. I might actually change back to using an older system.
