Leverage Your Blog Content with Automatic Article Submission!

Repurposing Your Blog Content Into Articles Just Got Easier with the Ezine Articles Plugin!Today is the day to simplify your process of repurposing your content into various formats online with the Ezine Articles Plugin!  Specifically, I want to show you how to leverage your blog content to automatically publish articles to an article directory, right from your wordpress account!

So, I have have been writing consistently on my blog for just under a couple of months and and today’s published post will be my 50th post!  It’s a milestone for me that I’m proud to celebrate. I have gained huge benefits from posting frequently.  It has built my momentum, gotten me into the habit of writing, and helped me to get started on building a list of subscribers who are interested in learning more from me.

And now that I feel like I have assembled an easy routine to keep my blogging going, I decided to take yesterday afternoon and repurpose some of my content into articles to submit to article directories online…starting with ezine articles.

I figured that since the major work and content had already been created, the process would be a relatively simple thing to do, but I had no idea how simple it was going to be!

Ezine Articles Plugin for WordPress Bloggers

EzineArticles WordPress Plugin, will automatically allow you to submit a blog post as an article for review, at the same time you publish your post to your blog!  What a great concept and I applaud them for this clever marketing resource!

My experience with Ezine Articles plugin:

I installed the ezine articles plugin and went through the process of publishing my more popular blog posts into articles.  There were a few minor tweaks I needed to make, like removing links and making a few wording changes to my blog post to make it fit the editorial guidelines that Ezine Articles has in place.  But overall it was a very simple process.

In just over an hour I had installed the plugin, submitted 9 articles right from my blog, tweaked them on the Ezine Articles site, and resubmitted them for review.  “Easy-peasy” as my 8 year old daughter would say!

I hope this option of automatically submitting your blog posts into articles, helps you simplify your repurposing process and helps you to leverage all your awesome blog content!  I’ll be sharing tips for using the EzineArticles WordPress Plugin in my next post!

Here’s to 50 posts completed and a manageable routine that just got easier!

  1. Hello Heather

    Talk about perfect timing.

I have been looking for something to allow me to easily re-purpose my blog posts as articles.

    Thanks for sharing the plugin

    • Heather C Stephens says:

Hey Peter, that’s awesome! I’m glad the timing worked well for you.

Let me know how it works for you. I have a post (in process of writing) with tips I learned from using the plugin for the first time. I think the best tip is to log into your ezine articles account and check your articles on their site to make sure everything looks ok. I had a few keywords cut off on a couple of my articles and a few little tweaks that needed to be done. I’m waiting to see if they’re approved still, so I figured I would wait to post the tips until I knew everything I did worked.

I loved the time savings it gave me!

      Hope it works for you!

  2. I do love this plugin, Heather, although I find it a pain in the neck to make the changes:).

    Great suggestions.

I just make my changes on the ezine articles website. It works for me, but probably not for everyone. 🙂

      Thanks for your comment Ana!

  3. Hi Heather,

What a great idea in how to re-purpose what you have. I always thought this was a great idea, because perhaps the re-purposed content can have that missing element people were looking for.

    You just never know.

    Have a great day,

      That’s great, Jerome!

I’m so glad you liked it!

  5. Heather,

Whew I thought this was an article about the automatic article submitter software what a piece of garbage!!

But this little tool is very handy I have had it for awhile now and love how easy it is to use.

I also like the fact that after I have submitted an article I can view the results right from the dashboard.

    Great idea to share it.

This is perfect. I’ve wondered about it before, but never felt I had the time to get it going. You make it sound so easy, I’ll have to start doing this sooner, rather than later.

That is great that you installed it and used it. That is a great tool to submit articles. You want to get in the habit of submitting at least one a week if you don’t have that much time. Thanks for testing it out.

  14. Hey Heather, I didn’t realize ezinearticles did this, this is actually pretty awesome. Thanks for the tip, I’ll be checking this out. If you can submit 9 articles in an hour that’s definitely worth the effort. Thanks again, Liz 🙂

    • Heather C Stephens says:

Thanks so much, Liz! I appreciate your comment and I hope that the ezine articles plugin works great for you!

  15. Hi Heather
Plugin and process sound fantastic but the reason I don’t submit articles is because of duplicate content.
If I publish an article on my blog and then submit it to an article directory… won’t that appear as duplicate content or have I misunderstood something?

  16. Heather,

Congratulations on the 50th blog post. Those milestones feel great, I recently wrote my 50th and it is an awesome feeling.

I have this plug-in installed but have not used it. It looks great and the only reason I do not use is is because of the Automatic Article Submitter software that I use to submit my articles to 100s of directories.

Most people I know do not have this software, so I will definitely share this to help my friends out in Network Marketing Land :).

    Have a great day,
    Tommy D.

    • Heather C Stephens says:

      Thanks Tommy!

I’ve looked into the automatic article submitter software in the past, but never acted on it. I’ll take a peek at it again.

Thanks for the suggestion and the comment!

  17. Heather. Thank you for the heads up re EzineArticles WordPress Plugin. I was only thinking yesterday how handy it would be for me to be able to rework my blog content into articles quickly and easily and was vaguely wondering the best and most efficient way to do it – then I read your guest post an Ty Tribble’s blog, landed here in your blog and WHAM – I got exactly what I was looking for. I just uploaded the plug in to my blog and im going to use it later today… Ill let you know how I get on.

    • Heather C Stephens says:

      Enjoy the plugin Maya!

You just reminded me I need to finish the blog post I started with tips for the ezine plugin. I’ll get on that soon!

Hope it works great for you!

  18. Heather, once again thanks for the info. I am currently in a trial period of article submission software. It’s fairly expensive, especially when I don’t feel I know enough to get the benefit I should. I have had a couple of Ezine articles approved, and I’m thinking this would be a great tool. I’ll give it a shot when my trial period is up. Keep the great info coming.

    • Heather C Stephens says:

      Hi Jack,

I love that the ezine articles plug in is FREE!:) Go for it…whenever you are ready.

      Thanks for your comment!!!

  19. I thoroughly agree that the EZA plugin for our articles is a great tool to add into a blog. The other plugin to attract commentators is commentluv and keywordluv.

The reason why I think do follow blogs are important is because of the social side they offer between like-minded people. Besides, the big G likes ’em too so they can’t be all bad 🙂

    • Heather C Stephens says:

      Hi Jan,

Thanks for your comment. I totally agree with you about the do follow blogs and the CommentLuv. I’ve been meaning to add in keywordluv, so thanks for commenting on that to push it into my mind again!

      Have a great week,

  20. This is a great tool to submit articles. Great job and highly recommended!
