Benefits of a blog aggregator?

One of the most beneficial things you can do as a blogger to get traffic to your blog and to boost your blog seo is to comment on other blogs in your niche.  Blog commenting builds social credibility, back links, relationships, and traffic.  It helps you to get ideas for new posts and expand your marketing knowledge.

But networking takes time, and running to all the various social media sites to see what’s new and who has posted what can be time consuming and distracting.

Like shopping at a department store that carries shoes, handbags, jewelry, clothing, and home goods all in one spot, a blog aggregator can simplify the process and save time.

  2. Hi Heather,

Wow! It’s like Google Reader on steroids.

I like the idea of a blog aggregator and from your list I can see you’ve included top notch blogs. I follow all of them, at least the ones in the image 😉

    Thanks for sharing with us.

    • Ryan, I’m just noticing you here. You’re awesome. It blows me away how you are “all over the place” …”all the time”… everywhere I look you’re there…. and here! It is a great idea isn’t it. It will save us all time… and now you don’t ever have to leave here at least for these 27 (it might me upto 33 ish by now) will be all on one page! ~Jayne~

  3. Hi Heather,

I LOVE the blog aggregator and would love to know how you created this. What I love about what you’ve created is that it saves me time by having all the blogs on one page that I can quickly scroll through, and may I add that there are some great blogs that have stepped up to your prove it blog challenge. What are some other blog aggregators?

  4. Heather –
It is so awesome for you to promote your challenge participants this way! I am not surprised you are being so go-give and showing such leadership. I look forward to doing something similar on my own blog. I hope your son feel better real soon! Take care, Allegra

  7. Great resource Heather!

I’m not just saying that because I’m in there – it’s genuinely a helpful thing to be able to check out that many recent, relevant posts on one page.

Good for you for sharing – I’m sure it will also help people to realize what a lot of value you have to offer as a connector along with all the other awesome work you do!

    Thanks!

    Jym

  8. Heather, it’s a fantastic idea. Never heard of a Blog Aggregator. I can’t tell you how much time it will save. I’ve been almost sweating bullets trying to document which posts I needed to get back to when I had time… course I was afraid of missing out on some that may have slid past me on FB. Of course… losing track of people… we all post at different times and it’s easy to miss unless we spend hideous amounts of time combing FB and over to everyones blogs. Thanks for making life easier. it was very thoughtful! Jayne

  9. I really like what you have done and it is proiding a way for everyone to be syndicated and build up credibility and back link in the process.

  10. Hi Heather!

I have never really considered a Blog Aggregator, but this looks quite effective! I’m loving the concept. I guess I didn’t quite understand why I needed to do it, but I get it now for sure. :)

Thanks for this! Definitely going to try it out.
